The Origin of the Lems, Slavs of Danubian Provenance

The original 1919 memorandum of the Lemko-Rusyn Republic sent to the Paris Peace Conference outlining Lemko national claims and offering a brief history of the region. The Lemkos requested first to be incorporated into Russia, and if that failed to join with Czechoslovakia to be with the Pryashivian Rusyn population. Though an important work in the political history of Lemko-Rusyns, it was largely ignored by those at the conference.
